LA Poster Session Fall 2014

Come learn about research on teaching and learning as Rutgers’ Learning Assistants present their final poster projects and discuss methods for implementing research-based instructional strategies at Rutgers.

About the LA Program

This innovative program engages undergraduates in classroom teaching and learning while helping them develop their teaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Learning assistants facilitate learning in several ways, including:

  • facilitating discussions and workshops during lectures
  • team teaching recitation sections with a graduate TA
  • leading supplemental study groups.

Learning assistants must co-enroll in a 3-credit, 300-level pedagogy course during their first semester in the program.
