Peer Leader Training - Problem Solving Strategies

Event Location:
SERC 104 (Busch)

The Learning Centers provide training sessions throughout the semester for any academic peerleader at Rutgers (tutors, study group leaders, peer instructors, learning assistants, etc.). LC tutors, study group leaders, and learning assistants are required to participate in at least two of these sessions, in addition to the initial New Peer Leader Training. If you work as an academic peer leader for another program at RU, you are also welcome to participate in our trainings. Each training session will address a specific topic and will involve activities and group discussion.

Learn about analytical thinking strategies and how to understand students' varying methods of problem solving. You'll learn new methods for taking notes, discussing problems, and helping students to learn both the concepts and procedures for the problems they're solving.

To register for this training session, visit our workshop registration page.

If you have any questions regarding the training sessions, please contact Stacey Blackwell

(stacey.blackwell@rutgers.edu).
