Peer Leader Training

What We Offer

The Rutgers Learning Centers offer training programs for students working in academic leadership positions, such as tutors and study group leaders. Our training programs are founded on research-based practices and can be tailored to fit the needs of your staff.

We offer free modular (1-2 hour), half-day, or full-day trainings that are tailored to your program's unique needs.

We also teach a pedagogy course that is required of Learning Assistants. If you are interested in learning more about this course, please email Stacey Blackwell.

How to Schedule a Training Session

We can provide a half, full or multiple day training program for your peer leaders, or they can attend our regularly scheduled professional development workshops. Please see our calendar for the professional development workshop schedule.
