This workshop will help you to better understand (1) how students learn chemistry content and (2) provide you with the opportunity to practice active and collaborative instructional techniques within a chemistry context. This workshop is intended to serve as an introduction to learning theories and instructional practices that will become part of your pedagogical content knowledge as chemistry peer instructors.

This session is open to anyone who is a peer leader (tutor, study group leader, mentor, academic coach, etc.) for chemistry courses at Rutgers University.

RSVP is not required; however, you can contact Dr. Mary Emenike if you have quetions or concerns.

Faculty and staff members, contact us if you would like us to schedule a similar session for your peer leaders.
