Tutoring

Group Tutoring
Join with a small number of fellow students in a cooperative group setting, facilitated by a peer tutor. Tutoring is provided on a walk-in basis at each of our three centers. To view the tutoring schedules for each of the centers, select the appropriate link below:

One-on-OneTutoring
This service is based in the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) Honors Program. In serving the Rutgers community, these tutors volunteer a limited but valuable part of their time and knowledge assisting individual students.

The learning centers host the program, providing space and online scheduling of appointments, but do not recruit the tutors. The variety and availability of tutored subjects in any given semester is solely determined by the number of honor students who choose to participate in the program.

To meet individually with a tutor, you must first schedule an appointment. Both you and the tutor will receive an e-mail confirming the date, time, and location of your appointment.

Online Tutoring
You can take part in a live tutoring session after hours and from a remote location through Knight Line, Rutgers’ Electronic Tutoring Program. Check the schedule by selecting the link below, and then log in with your eden user name and password at the start of a scheduled online session.

Writing Assistance
For help with writing assignments in the humanities and social sciences, make an appointment for academic coaching. For help with Basic Composition and Expository Writing, visit one of the Writing Centers at http://wp.rutgers.edu/. Additionally, the following online resources are available:
